The Sofia Hotel,
San Diego, CA
– 2006-2007
864 pieces of artwork (45 different
images from our vast collection) are featured
in the hotel’s public areas, its 212
guest
rooms and suites. Nature-inspired imagery was
created and customized based on designer’s color palette to complement
elegant, chic design intended to invoke a sense of harmony and balance.
This
interior design project is the 1st place Design Excellence
Award winner. The award was given in May, 2008, by the American Society
of Interior Designers (ASID), San Diego Chapter.
The Sofia Hotel has been
recently inducted into the National Trust Historic Hotels of America.
